“We need to support her,” Cassper Nyovest said in response to Tyla’s accomplishment

Cassper Nyovest sings Water, Tyla’s famous song, to honor her accomplishment.

The blockbuster song from 2023 has created history and given her a larger international audience.

Various artists, including Master KG and Major League DJz, have congratulated her for her wins.

Taking to his Instagram stories, Nyovest congratulated the 21-year-old and urged South Africans to support her.

“She’s gone!!! We need to get behind her as a nation and support her!!! A young South African star,” he wrote.

Tyla’s Water broke Master KG’s record as she is now the first South African artist to reach 8.3 Million monthly listeners on Spotify.

Meanwhile, the music video of the song which was released last week on YouTube has surpassed  4 million views in 5 days.

The young star trended on Twitter on Monday as people congratulated her for the wins.
