South Africa – The fire in the Johannesburg CBD was brought under control by firefighters.

Two stores on the intersection of Jeppe Street and Polly Street caught fire early on Wednesday morning, and six more stores were later affected by the fire.

An investigation will be conducted to determine the cause of the fire, as the amount of the damage is unknown.

As of early Wednesday afternoon, no fatalities or injuries had been reported.

This fire in the CBD is the most recent in a series of them.

A building in Marshalltown caught fire a few months ago, killing 77 people.
