SA JEWISH BOARD OF DEPUTES BLOCKS HAMAS INTERVIEW OUTSIDE SABC

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa – Members of the South African Jewish Board of Deputies protested outside the SABC in Joburg against an interview with a Hamas spokesperson.

According to the group, there were false allegations related to the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

Earlier on Friday, the board protested outside the national broadcaster’s headquarters in Auckland Park.

“This is a protest which has a number of teddybears, 32 teddybears representing each one of the children who are hostages in Gaza we are calling for the release of all hostages but we particularly didn’t want to just ignore the existence of these children,” Karen Milner, a spokesman for the group, said.
