Calvin Candino’s death has crushed Rethabile Khumalo’s heart.
The young man who died on the 24th of November, Friday, was a dancer.
Makhadzi’s record label revealed his death in a social media announcement.
Rethabile took to Instagram to express her safety and pay tribute to the late singer.
Read the tribute below:
“Dear Calvin, It’s with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes that I write this farewell message to you. My dear friend, you were more than just a best friend to me; you were my everything. The bond we shared, the laughter we embraced, and the unforgettable memories we created will forever be etched in my soul.”
“It pains me deeply to know that you’re no longer with us, that I won’t get to see your infectious smile or hear your contagious laughter again. Life can be so cruel, taking away someone so special and leaving an emptiness that can never be filled.”
“As I prepare to bring a new life into this world, the joy is tinged with sadness because you won’t be here to meet my son. I know in my heart that you would have been the most incredible uncle, showering him with love, guidance, and laughter, just as you did with me. It breaks my heart that he will never get the chance to experience your warmth and kindness firsthand.”
“But even though you couldn’t meet my son in person, I promise you this: I will ensure that he knows all about the amazing person you were. I will tell him stories about our adventures, the mischief we got into, and the way you lit up every room you entered. Your memory will live on through me, and I will make sure he knows what an incredible friend and soul you were.”
“I take solace in knowing that you’re watching over us, guiding us from above. I find comfort in the thought that you’ll be his guardian angel, protecting him and showering him with your love and blessings.”
”As I bid you farewell, dear Calvin, I want you to know that you will always hold a special place in my heart. The impact you had on my life is immeasurable, and I am forever grateful for the time we shared together. Rest in eternal peace, my dear friend, until we meet again,” she wrote.
