Moja Love has parted ways with Sizok’thola host Xolani Khumalo.

On Friday, the station issued a statement declaring the termination of their collaboration.

“Members of the public and the media are hereby notified that Moja Love TV Channels has terminated its relationship with Mr Xolani Khumalo, a presenter in one of the company’s leading shows, Sizok’thola.”

Khumalo is currently facing murder charges in connection with the death of alleged drug dealer Robert “Kicks” Varrie, who died shortly after Khumalo and his television team paid him a visit while recording an episode of Sizok’thola.

The host’s organization issued a statement months ago stating that Xolani was instructed to turn himself into authorities.

“The South African Police Service has requested that Xolani Khumalo hand himself over in connection with an incident that occurred at one of the last drug busts,” the foundation said in a statement.

“Xolani Khumalo and the team operated according to the strictest standards of professionalism when engaged in securing accountability from those that sell drugs and choose to harm communities.”

Xolani is free on bond and will return to court in November.
