Drake, whose real name is Aubrey Drake Graham, is a musician and actor who was born on October 24, 1986, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. His mother, Sandi Graham Sher, was a teacher, and his father, Dennis Graham, was a drummer. In addition to being raised Jewishly by his mother, Drake also had two musically inclined uncles Larry Graham and Teenie Hodges. He went to a Jewish school and had his Bar Mitzvah. Drake’s parents divorced when he was five years old, and he was forced to deal with challenging circumstances with his mother, who had an accident and was unable to work. They ultimately settled into a room in the basement. Drake completed his degree despite having trouble finishing in October 2012.
Drake played Jimmy Brooks in the Canadian television series Degrassi: The Next Generation when he was 15 years old. He appeared in multiple seasons up till 2009 and was recorded because of his excellent performance.

The song sold over 1 million copies in a short period of time, making the musician the first to have a platinum album that year. Later, he and rapper Future unveiled the album What a Time to Be Alive, which peaked at number one on the Billboard 200, at a concert.
