South African musician, Deep London has filed a lawsuit against Smada, a young Nigerian vocalist.
The Nigerian artist allegedly sampled Hamba Wena, a smash song by London featuring Boohle.
The music producer tweeted that legal action has been taken over copyright infringement.
“The legal action against this @SuperSmada have been taken. This guy will pay … This is copyrights infringement,” the music producer wrote.
However, some Nigerian tweeps flooded the tweet with defensive words, in support of the upcoming singer.
